Gabriel, Alex, ZhenZhen and Dariush are friends that joined the camp before they realized that they couldn’t keep up with the activities there, such as climbing ropes and canoeing. At the same time, aliens invade Earth. The kids learn of a way to stop the invasion, and now they need to stick together and depend on themselves to complete their mission successfully.
Crip Camp – 2020
A documentary movie created by James Lebrecht, Nicole Newnham, and starring James Lebrecht and Lionel Je’Woodyard. The movie is set in the 1970’s about a summer camp called “Camp Jened” for disabled teenagers. This camp was their place of comfort and their Utopia away from the discrimination of society for disabled people, and from this camp they lead a revolution to change laws and the public perception that people have of them.
Wet Hot American Summer – 2001
A Romantic comedy movie and another Netflix summer camp movie directed by David Wain, and starring Janeane Garofalo and David Hyde Pierce. The movie is set in 1981 about Firewood, a summer camp with a roller-coaster of emotions and dramatic events, especially towards the end of summer and right before everyone goes home. The campers need to protect themselves from a lethal piece of NASA Skylab that could hit them, they also need to perform a rescue operation from a waterfall, all while managing their relationships.
A Week Away – 2021
A musical Netflix summer camp movie directed by Roman White, and starring Kevin Quinn, and Bailee Madison. The movie is about will, the teenager who spent his life moving between foster houses, and how it made him unstable and prone to getting into troubles, until he found himself forced to make a choice, going to juvenile detention or spend one week at a religious summer camp, so he chooses the camp, but could he find his peace?

Another musical Netflix summer camp movie created by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, starring Macarena García, and Anna Castillo. It’s about María and Susana the teenagers’ girls who shared a passion for music. They get into some troubles, and are forced to join a Catholic camp during summer. However, their Rebellious souls get into conflict with the ecclesiastic order, and create a new song for love and freedom.
Utøya: July 22 – 2018
A drama and thriller movie created by Erik Poppe, and starring Andrea Berntzen and Aleksander Holmen. It’s about a true massacre that happen in July 22, 2011, in Norway. The story begins with a big explosion caused by a car bomb, a terrorist attack that killed 8 persons. The terrorist, Anders Behring Breivik, who is a far right escapee to a summer camp in island of Utøya, and complete his work by killing 69 teenagers and wounding hundreds of them. The movie shows us the terrified moments passed on more than 600 teenagers in this camp and how they tried to save themselves and rescue each other.

A romantic comedy and a Netflix summer camp movie created by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, and starring Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke, about Drea and Eleanor, the high school students, who are suffering from their colleagues’ bullying, Drea was very popular at her school before her boyfriend Max leaked a sexual tape about her, also Eleanor, who is suffering from Carissa the bully guy who turned her life into hell in the summer camp by starting a bad rumor about her, now Drea and Eleanor become close friends, and both of them seek revenge on all their bullies.

A comedy Netflix summer camp movie directed by Tibor Takács, and starring Dylan Schmid and Emilia McCarthy. It’s about Dylan and Dane, the Rebellious and trouble-making brothers, after they set their house on fire with a rocket, and get sent to a military camp to behave themselves, but they run away from the camp when they get the chance and go to Camp Bushwhack. They pretend that they are different people called Sanjay and Delroy, but they find themselves responsible for kids in the camp, they al start a zombie apocalypse.

A comedy Netflix summer camp movie created by Rob Burnett, and starring Craig Roberts, Paul Rudd and Selena Gomez. In the movie, a writer called Ben Benjamin joins a caregiver class after he went through a family problem, and that changes his point of view on life, so he becomes a caregiver to a disable teenager, and together they went on a great adventure and become best friends. They both learned more about life, love, and friendship.

A comedy Netflix summer camp movie directed by Louise Alston and starring Sofia Wylie and Christopher Kirby. It’s about Cory Bailey the science student that dreams of becoming a marine scientist, and she got all the support she needs from Her parents Rebecca and David. During summer holiday she decides to join the Sea Science program offered by Harold Academy, but she takes the wrong bus and finds herself in Harold Soccer Academy training center. She could not contact the person in charge in the science program so she stayed in the soccer training summer camp.
Moonrise Kingdom – 2012
An adventure comedy movie created by Wes Anderson, and starring Jared Gilman, Kara Hayward and Bruce Willis. The movie is set in 1960s’ about a love story between a boy and a girl on an island near the New England coast, but they faced a storm of rejection for their relationship from the community, and that is because they think they are still too young to commit to this kind of relationship because they are only 12 years old! so they tried to run away into the wild and camp away from the town, but people turned the town upside down to find them, and bring them home.
